One Million Prive, inspired by Paco Rabanne 1 Million Privé (2016)

Cinnamon is the first thing you notice, spiced and slightly sugary, with blood mandarin giving it a reddish citrus tang. The heart moves to tobacco leaf and myrrh, a resin that smells bitter and balsamic. Tonka bean, with its almond and hay-like vanilla tone, sweetens the base while patchouli keeps it earthy. Spice and sugar stay in balance, with tobacco as the thread between them.

About the original

Paco Rabanne, now styled Rabanne, released 1 Million Privé in 2016 as an eau de parfum flanker of the 2008 1 Million. Fragrance databases credit Christophe Raynaud with the composition. Its notes come from databases rather than an official Rabanne source, so details vary slightly: some list plain mandarin instead of blood mandarin. It is one of many 1 Million variations, alongside Intense, Parfum, Elixir and Lucky.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Paco Rabanne stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Cinnamon and tobacco give it a cosy, spiced character that leans sweet. Its texture is resinous rather than fresh. Cinnamon leads from the start, so it is a poor match for anyone who avoids that spice.

We have not been able to confirm whether Rabanne still produces 1 Million Privé.

How is it different from the original 1 Million?

Privé is the 2016 eau de parfum flanker built on cinnamon and tobacco. The 2008 1 Million is an eau de toilette with a separate composition, which we also make.

Is this the same as Lady Million Privé?

No. Lady Million Privé belongs to the women's Lady Million line; this page is the men's 1 Million Privé.
