Toy, inspired by Moschino Toy (2014)

Citrus and spice share the top, mandarin and bergamot with cardamom and the gin-like snap of juniper berries. Lavender and violet follow, giving the heart a slightly powdery, floral-aromatic feel, with hawthorn adding a faint almond-blossom tone. Cedar and sandalwood make the base, with a touch of vanilla and moss. Overall it is clean and airy, sweet only at the edges.

About the original

Moschino launched Toy in 2014 in a bottle shaped like a teddy bear wearing a 'This is not a Moschino Toy' shirt. It is marketed to both men and women and is usually credited to Alexandra Kosinski. Toy 2 (2018) for women and Toy Boy (2019) for men came later and are different scents. Moschino's own shop does not carry it, but its fragrance licensee Euroitalia still lists the eau de toilette.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Moschino stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Despite the novelty bottle, the scent itself is restrained: fresh, aromatic and only slightly sweet. Lavender and violet give it a powdery touch that may read as old-fashioned to some.

Is this Toy, Toy 2 or Toy Boy?

This page is the original 2014 Toy in the teddy-bear bottle, sold for men and women. Toy 2 (2018) is a women's scent and Toy Boy (2019) a men's one; we make both separately.

Is it sweet?

Only slightly. Vanilla sits in the base, but citrus, juniper and lavender keep it fresh.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
