Serge Lutens built Ambre Sultan as one of perfumery’s great ambers. Coriander and bay leaf open it green and aromatic, a rich amber, myrrh and patchouli build a resinous, honeyed heart, and a base of vanilla, sandalwood and benzoin keeps it smooth and warm. It smells like a warm, spiced, slightly herbal amber, comforting with real character.

We do not claim this is identical, because no interpretation is. What we have built follows the same amber signature of the original, rebuilt at up to 40% perfume oil so it projects clearly early on and lingers longer than a typical spray. A little goes a long way.
