The Story Behind the Scent

Hermès master perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena built Ambre Narguilé around the cosy sweetness of a hookah lounge. A boozy rum and cinnamon open it warm, honey, tobacco and caramel give a rich, edible heart, and a base of tonka, benzoin and vanilla keeps it smooth and long lasting. It smells like warm spiced honey and pipe tobacco, comforting and a little indulgent.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

We do not claim this is identical, because no interpretation is. What we have built follows the same gourmand amber signature of the original, rebuilt at up to 40% perfume oil so it projects clearly early on and lingers longer than a typical spray. A little goes a long way.
