Azaran

Azaran, inspired by Bvlgari Le Gemme Azaran (2021)

Saffron drives Azaran from top to bottom. Jacques Cavallier describes it as fresh, spicy, warm and leathery all at once, and the scent leans on each of those sides in turn. A touch of bergamot brightens the first minutes, then red cedarwood takes over as a dry, pencil-shaving trail beneath the spice.

About the original

Bvlgari launched Azaran in 2021 as a men's addition to Le Gemme, its high-end collection, paired at launch with Astrea for women. The name and concept come from red aventurine. It was announced as a limited edition but remains in Bvlgari's Le Gemme range, and in 2023 it was also included in a collector's duo with Kobraa.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Bvlgari stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Saffron lovers will recognise the material front and centre. Its dry, leathery side can feel austere if you prefer citrus or sweet ambers.

Bvlgari markets Azaran for men; its launch partner Astrea was the women's scent.
