Bohemian Lime, inspired by Goldfield & Banks Bohemian Lime (2020)

Finger lime, an Australian citrus with tiny pearl-like vesicles, gives Bohemian Lime its tart and slightly bitter opening. Coriander seed adds a peppery, herbal side straight away. As the citrus calms, aromatic green notes and vetiver take the middle, earthy and grassy. Cedar and sandalwood close it on a smoother woody base.

About the original

Goldfield & Banks is an independent Australian house, and Bohemian Lime belongs to its Native Collection, which is built around Australian ingredients. The scent launched in 2020 and draws on the coastal town of Byron Bay. The brand credits unnamed French master perfumers rather than an individual. In 2026 it also appeared in the brand's Coast to Coast limited-edition sleeve, the same fragrance in new packaging.

Who it suits

Spring and summer daytime wear suit it best, according to fragrance references. Fans of lime and herb colognes will recognise the style, though here the base is woodier. Opinion on it splits: some find the lime photorealistic, others think the drydown turns into a generic fresh scent.
