Figue Erotique, inspired by Tom Ford Figue Érotique Eau de Parfum (2025)

Fig leaf and violet leaf open it on a sappy, cucumber-like greenness, with galbanum adding bitterness and pink pepper a slight prickle. Green bergamot and mandarin brighten that edge. Within minutes the Kadota fig accord takes over, which launch press describes as salty, floral and honeyed. A muscovado brown-sugar accord and ylang ylang make the heart lush. Vetiver, patchouli and benzoin (a vanilla-like resin) bring it to a resinous close.

About the original

Figue Érotique joined the Private Blend collection in December 2025, in 30 ml and 50 ml bottles plus a 250 ml decanter. Tom Ford classes it as an amber fruity scent. It was composed by Shyamala Maisondieu, whom Tom Ford quotes on its product page. The bottles carry violet-toned details meant to evoke the inside of a ripe fig. A Figue Érotique candle also exists; our reference is the eau de parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Tom Ford stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

It suits fig lovers who want the sweet, resinous side of the fruit as well as its leaves. The green opening fades into brown sugar and benzoin, so it ends sweet and resinous rather than green. Lovers of crisp, watery figs may find the drydown too rich.
