Coro, inspired by Xerjoff Coro (2019)

Coro leads with ripe tropical fruit, pineapple and mango in particular, juicy without tipping into syrup. Jasmine sits under the fruit and gives it a floral lift, while orris (the dried root of the iris, which smells faintly powdery and cool) keeps the sweetness in check. Woody undertones come forward as it settles. A light gourmand vanilla lingers at the end with sandalwood and musk.

About the original

According to secondary sources, Coro first appeared around 2019 as an exclusive for Selfridges, where bottles are sometimes labelled XJ V Coro. Xerjoff gave it wider distribution in 2025 within its Vibe collection, where each bottle comes with a Como silk foulard. It is sold as an eau de parfum and remains part of the brand's current range. Fans often place it next to Erba Pura as a more tropical relative.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Xerjoff stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Lovers of fruit-forward scents who find most tropical perfumes too sugary should look here first. The vanilla and sandalwood give the drydown a rounded, skin-like feel. Pineapple and mango are at their most obvious in the opening, so a dislike of either is a reason to pass.
