The Story Behind the Scent

Le Lion de Chanel arrived in 2020 as one of Olivier Polge’s standout additions to Les Exclusifs, inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s love of the lion and built around a refined, glowing amber.

Our interpretation follows that character. We keep the citrus fresh up top, let a smooth amber and labdanum warm the middle, and finish on soft vanilla and sandalwood for an elegant, wearable amber.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

The original is an exclusive Chanel release sold at luxury pricing. We build ours at a high perfume oil concentration and sell direct, so you get the same character for a fraction of the price.
