Zarkoperfume calls this 'the heartless one', and the structure explains why: the top notes run straight into the base with nothing in between. Elderflower lends a light floral sweetness, apricot a mellow stone-fruit note and black orchid a darker floral tone. The base turns to mahogany and a dark-wood accord, smoothed by a cream accord. The brand describes an almost mineral feel inspired by pink champagne.

About the original

Pink Molécule 090.09 is credited to the Danish perfumer Zarko Ahlmann Pavlov, whose name the house carries. One retailer dates it to 2014, which the brand has not confirmed. According to Zarkoperfume, its inspiration combines pink champagne with Nordic elements. It remains on sale and is a different scent from the house's Purple Molécule 070.07 and Molécule 234.38.
