Al Fareed, inspired by Arabian Oud Al Fareed (2020)

Al Fareed opens with bergamot and a peppery tingle from pink pepper. Violet then brings a cool, slightly powdery floral note, paired with the damp depth of patchouli and the salty warmth of ambergris. Underneath, oud gives a dry, woody darkness that musk and vanilla soften, so the base feels rounded rather than medicinal.

About the original

Arabian Oud released Al Fareed around 2020. Its listings vary: one Saudi retailer calls it unisex in the product title and a men's fragrance in the text, and some fragrance references also file it as men's. Sources disagree on the notes too, and the pyramid used here follows retailer listings and fragrance references.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Arabian Oud stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits
