Arabian Knight begins with citrus brightness from bergamot, then quickly turns smoother as tonka bean comes forward with its almond and hay facets. Woods give it structure and musk keeps the finish clean. The brand calls it oriental woody, but on its current note list it is lighter and fresher than that label suggests.

About the original

Arabian Oud, the Saudi perfume house with its own boutiques worldwide, sells Arabian Knight for men alongside two flankers, Arabian Knight Silver and Arabian Knight Gold. Its launch year is not documented. Older descriptions list a different, spicier composition with cinnamon, rose, vanilla and amber, so the formula may have been revised. It is not certain which version the reference follows; the copy here follows the brand's current notes.
