Burberry Her Elixir, inspired by Burberry Her Elixir de Parfum (2022)

Her Elixir begins with the dark red berries of the Her line, strawberry and blackberry, ripe and jammy. Jasmine sits behind the fruit and adds a floral fullness without much freshness. As it dries down, vanilla and amber take the lead, and sandalwood lends a smooth, milky woodiness. The effect is plush and clearly sweet, a fruit-and-vanilla gourmand rather than a light berry scent.

About the original

Burberry launched Her Elixir de Parfum in 2022 as the intense flanker of Burberry Her, the 2018 fruity gourmand. Retailer listings credit Jérôme Di Marino and Maïa Lernout, though Burberry itself does not name the perfumers. The bottle is a deeper, opaque pink version of the Her bottle with raised lettering. It should not be mixed up with Burberry Her Eau de Parfum Intense, a different flanker built on blackberry, cherry, violet and patchouli.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Burberry stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Sweetness is its defining trait, so it works best for women who already enjoy berry and vanilla gourmands. Burberry presents it as bold and sensual. Anyone who found the original Her too sugary will find the Elixir richer still.

How is Her Elixir different from Burberry Her?

Her (2018) is the original berry gourmand. The Elixir de Parfum keeps the red berries but adds a richer jasmine, vanilla and amber base, so it feels deeper and sweeter. We make both.

Is this Her Elixir or Her Eau de Parfum Intense?

Her Elixir de Parfum, the 2022 flanker with strawberry, blackberry, jasmine and vanilla. Her Intense is a separate scent with cherry, violet and patchouli.

Yes. It sits firmly on the fruity-gourmand side, with vanilla and amber driving the drydown.
