La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude, inspired by Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude (2025)

Jasmine grandiflorum gives a sunny floral opening, but the vanilla soon dominates. Lancôme calls it a 'vanille musquée', a musky vanilla, and that describes the effect well. Bourbon vanilla here feels glazed rather than candied, and white musk and sandalwood keep it smooth and skin-like. It is less sugary than the original La Vie Est Belle.

About the original

Lancôme launched Vanille Nude in 2025 as a flanker of La Vie Est Belle (2012), presenting it as the line's first musky vanilla. Lancôme credits Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo among its perfumers. A UK retailer gives a longer pyramid with bergamot, pink pepper, iris and a coconut accord. A matching Vanille Nude body and hair mist exists; this page is based on the eau de parfum.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lancôme stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Comfort is the point of this one, with vanilla and musk doing most of the work. Its character is gentle and musky, which may disappoint someone who loves the sugary original La Vie Est Belle.
