Noa, inspired by Cacharel Noa (1998)

Peony and white musk set a pale, clean tone from the start, with freesia and green notes beside them. The heart stays transparent, built on lily and lily of the valley with touches of jasmine and rose. What sets Noa apart is the base, where coffee and incense sit among vanilla and woods. Even so, the overall impression remains powdery and fresh.

About the original

Cacharel launched Noa in 1998; it is usually credited to Olivier Cresp. Its bottle is a small globe with a pearl inside. Many flankers followed, among them Noa Perle, Noa Fleur, Noa Dream and Noa L'Eau, but this page refers to the original. Cacharel's own description lists white peony, Bulgarian rose, white musks and benzoin, with coffee and incense as accents.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Cacharel stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its character is clean and powdery, more about musk and pale flowers than a full bouquet. Coffee and incense are accents rather than leads, so buyers expecting a gourmand or a smoky scent will be surprised.
