Our Moment, inspired by One Direction Our Moment (2013)

Our Moment opens tangy, with pink grapefruit mixed with wild berries and tart redcurrant. Freesia and jasmine petals soon take the lead, with frangipani adding a sunny, tropical floral tone. The drydown is gentle: a smooth musk, sheer woods and white patchouli, a cleaned-up version of patchouli without the earthiness. Sweet and fruity, it never gets heavy.

About the original

Our Moment was the first One Direction fragrance, announced in June 2013 and launched as a Harrods exclusive on 25 August before its wider release on 9 September. Eden Parfums produced it under licence, developing it with Firmenich. It was reported as the best-selling celebrity fragrance of Christmas 2013 and won Best Female Fragrance at that year's Pure Beauty Awards. Liam Payne described it as quite sweet and subtle. Three more followed: That Moment, You & I and Between Us.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not One Direction stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of light, fruity scents with a pink, playful mood will find it easy to wear. It is sweet throughout, so anyone after a drier or more complex floral might prefer something else.
