Dream Bright, inspired by Bath & Body Works Dream Bright (2022)

Dream Bright is built on just a few named ingredients, and each one has a clear job. The berry note, which Bath & Body Works calls sapphire berries, gives a glossy, tangy start. Night-blooming orchid fills the middle with a pale, slightly sweet floral tone. Underneath, crystallized vanilla adds a sugared, almost candied finish that holds the composition together.

About the original

Bath & Body Works introduced Dream Bright as a new fine fragrance in its holiday 2022 launch, and later promoted it in Australia as its newest scent alongside matching body care, candles and home fragrance. The main format is a fine fragrance mist, and an eau de parfum version has also been listed. Its official description calls it a warm, floral-fruity scent. The brand publishes only three notes, so the scent is defined more by mood than by a long pyramid.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Bath & Body Works stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its texture is the main appeal: sweet berries and vanilla with enough orchid to keep it from smelling like sweets alone. It sits in the playful, romantic end of the Bath & Body Works range. Wearers wanting a dry, green or woody perfume will find nothing of that here.

The opening is berry-led and lightly tart, with the fruit note kept clear rather than jammy.

Orchid then rounds the scent into a smooth floral middle, and crystallized vanilla gradually takes over, leaving a sugary, glowing base.
