Slogan, inspired by Courrèges Slogan (2021)

Juniper berry comes first, with the cool, resinous bite familiar from gin. It gives way to white musk, which reads as clean skin and freshly washed cotton rather than anything perfumed. Underneath sits ambroxan, a modern material with a dry, slightly salty, woody-amber tone that gives the scent its depth. The structure is minimal, and that restraint is the point.

About the original

Courrèges launched Slogan in 2021 as part of a repackaged relaunch of its fragrance line, and the perfume blog Now Smell This described it as intended as the house signature. It is credited to Annick Ménardo, although one retailer names the brand's artistic director instead. Several retailers sell it as a mixed, unisex eau de parfum, while some Central European shops file it under women's scents.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Courrèges stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Minimalists will understand it straight away. It has no fruit, no florals and no sweetness, so buyers who like a perfume to announce itself with a big floral or gourmand accord may find it too spare. The musk and ambroxan base is clean and skin-like, which fits the way several retailers sell it as unisex.

Is Courrèges Slogan a women's or a unisex perfume?

Several retailers sell it as unisex, and its juniper, musk and ambroxan structure has nothing that leans strongly one way. Some shops list it under women's fragrances.

Is Slogan sweet?

No. It is a dry woody musk with no fruit or vanilla in the documented notes.
