Armani Code Colonia, inspired by Armani Code Colonia (2017)

Bergamot and mandarin give a lively citrus start, with pink pepper adding a faint fizz. Orange blossom then links it to the Code family, alongside clary sage and amyl salicylate, a synthetic with a sunny, clover-like floral smell. The drydown is smooth: tonka bean and amberwood with a touch of powdery heliotrope.

About the original

Antoine Maisondieu created Code Colonia for Armani in 2017, offered in 50, 75 and 125 ml. It kept the fougère structure of the 2006 Armani Code but swapped some of its darkness for fresh citrus. Armani's current US Code range lists only the EDT, EDP, Parfum and Elixir, and Colonia is reported as discontinued.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

It is the fresher, citrus-led member of the Code family, clean and approachable. Anyone after the sweeter depth of the main Code line may find it too airy.

How is Code Colonia different from Armani Code EDT?

It keeps the orange blossom and tonka of the Code line but leads with more citrus, so it is lighter and fresher.

Is Armani Code Colonia discontinued?

It no longer appears in Armani's Code range, and perfume databases record it as discontinued.

Is Armani Code Colonia coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Giorgio Armani that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
