Unlimited, inspired by BOSS Bottled Unlimited (2014)

Mint and grapefruit make a cool, zesty start, and violet leaf adds a green, slightly cucumber-like crispness. The heart turns fruity with pineapple, while cinnamon and rose give it shape. Underneath sit labdanum (also called cistus), sandalwood and white musk, a clean base with a faint ambery depth from the resin.

About the original

BOSS Bottled Unlimited first appeared in December 2013 as a travel-retail exclusive at Frankfurt airport, then went on general sale in 2014. Some retailers sell it as BOSS No.6 Bottled Unlimited. Hugo Boss described it in terms of invigorating freshness and aromatic masculinity. A 2016 Mats Hummels edition was a special bottle, not a different scent.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Hugo Boss stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

A sporty fougère, it is usually worn in the daytime and in warm weather, including at the gym. Some wearers see a resemblance to Montblanc Legend Spirit. Pineapple and mint lean playful rather than serious, which will not suit every taste.

Yes. Its full name is BOSS Bottled Unlimited, an Eau de Toilette from 2014, and it is a different scent from the original BOSS Bottled.

Is the Mats Hummels edition a different fragrance?

No. The 2016 Mats Hummels edition was a special bottle of the same scent.
