Armani Code Profumo, inspired by Armani Code Profumo (2016)

Cardamom and green apple open together, spicy yet fruity, with green mandarin keeping it lively. Nutmeg and lavender give the heart a classic barbershop warmth, and orange blossom connects it to the Code line. The base is the main event: thick tonka bean, amber and leather, sweet and resinous. Many wearers notice a cola-like quality in the overall blend.

About the original

Antoine Maisondieu composed Code Profumo for Armani in 2016, and the brand classified it as an amber woody. Armani's US site now has a dedicated page stating that the product has been discontinued, recommending the Code EDP, EDT and Parfum instead. Code Parfum (2022) and the 2024 Code EDP are separate products, though some wearers regard the latter as a spiritual successor.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Cold nights and evening plans are its territory. It feels dense and sweet, which suits a confident wearer. In heat or a small office, the tonka and amber can feel overpowering.

Yes. Armani's US website lists it as discontinued.

Is it the same as Armani Code Parfum?

No. Code Parfum (2022) is a different fragrance; our reference is Code Profumo from 2016.

Is Code Profumo sweet?

Yes, noticeably. Tonka and amber give it a sweet, almost cola-like character.

Is Armani Code Profumo coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Giorgio Armani that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
