Armani Code Ice, inspired by Armani Code Ice (2014)

Mint and ginger hit first, a cool tingle with a spicy kick, and lemon sharpens the edges. Lavender, geranium and sage carry the middle in a classic aromatic style. Guaiac wood, a smoky, faintly resinous wood, lines the base with tonka bean adding just enough sweetness to tie it back to Code.

About the original

Alberto Morillas created Code Ice for Armani in 2014, and the brand presented it as a fresher interpretation of the 2006 Armani Code. It came in 50, 75 and 125 ml bottles. It is absent from the official US Armani Code range, and fragrance references state that it is no longer produced.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Summer days and warm climates are where Code Ice makes sense. The mint and ginger feel energetic, close to sporty. Fans of the darker Code EDT will find this version much lighter and less sweet.

It no longer appears in Armani's official range, and fragrance references report that it is no longer produced.

Is Code Ice sweet like Armani Code?

Much less so. Tonka is in the base, but mint, ginger and lavender dominate.

Is Armani Code Ice coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Giorgio Armani that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
