Blv, inspired by Bvlgari BLV pour Homme (2001)

Ginger is the axis of BLV pour Homme, fresh and slightly peppery, with cardamom opening the way and sandalwood present from the start. Juniper and galangal, a rooty relative of ginger with a camphor-like tang, sharpen the heart. As the spice calms, tobacco blossom and teak wood bring a smoother, faintly green and woody base. It is lively but composed, never loud.

About the original

Alberto Morillas created BLV pour Homme in 2001, a year after the women's BLV. A separate BLV pour Homme sold in Japan in 2009 has a different note list (grapefruit, pear, lavender), so the two should not be confused. The 2001 fragrance is no longer listed by Bvlgari and is widely reported as discontinued.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Bvlgari stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

For men who find aquatics too plain and warm spices too heavy, this sits in between. It feels composed rather than loud. Ginger bites noticeably in the first minutes, so sample it before committing if that spice is not your favourite.

The men's BLV pour Homme from 2001. The women's BLV (2000) is a separate wisteria and musk scent, which we also make.

Is Bvlgari BLV pour Homme discontinued?

It no longer appears in Bvlgari's range and is reported as discontinued. No official date has been published.

Is Bvlgari Blv coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Bvlgari that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
