Blv, inspired by Bvlgari BLV (2000)

BLV pairs two ideas that rarely meet: chilled ginger and translucent musk. Bergamot adds lift in the opening, then wisteria, a pale, lilac-like flower, gives the heart its gentle floral tone. Flax adds a clean, linen-like feel. Sandalwood, black locust (acacia blossom) and vanilla warm the base slowly, and the result is powdery and calm rather than gourmand.

About the original

Alberto Morillas composed BLV for Bvlgari in 2000, and a men's BLV pour Homme followed in 2001. The pairing of ginger and musk defines it, and the scent is described as clean and elegant. Many also consider it wearable by men. It is no longer listed by Bvlgari, and it is reported to have been discontinued several years ago.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Bvlgari stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Quiet, polished and skin-close, this suits the office and everyday wear. Fans of powdery musks will find it familiar. Next to a big floral or a sweet gourmand it seems restrained, almost reticent.

Is this the women's BLV or BLV pour Homme?

The women's BLV Eau de Parfum from 2000. BLV pour Homme (2001) is a different, more ginger-and-wood scent, which we also make.

Can men wear BLV for women?

Many wearers think so. The ginger and musk keep it clean and the sweetness is low.

Is BLV the same as BLV II or BLV Notte?

No. Those are separate fragrances.

Is Bvlgari Blv coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Bvlgari that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
