Euphoria Blush, inspired by Calvin Klein Euphoria Blush (2020)

Berries set the tone here, and they lean tart: the opening is often likened to raspberry lemonade or a fruit punch with rose in it. Mandarin and pink pepper give the fruit some fizz. Rose, orchid and jasmine fill the middle without turning heavy. Underneath, chocolate and patchouli add depth, and white amber keeps the finish smooth and pale.

About the original

Coty launched Euphoria Blush in March 2020, first in worldwide travel retail. It belongs to the Euphoria line that began in 2005, and its bottle is a pink-tinted version of the Euphoria flacon with a silver cap. The perfumers were Jean-Marc Chaillan and Yves Cassar of IFF, and Mica Argañaraz fronted the campaign. Trade press called it an eau de toilette at launch, while most retailers have sold it as an eau de parfum. Calvin Klein's US site now presents the Euphoria line as the elixir series, and Blush is not listed.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Calvin Klein stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its tartness is the main draw: someone who enjoys berry notes but dislikes candy-floss sweetness will get on with it. The chocolate stays in the background, so this is not a gourmand. As a rose scent it is a fruity one, with the berries always in front of the flower.

Is Euphoria Blush discontinued?

It is no longer listed on Calvin Klein's US website, though some discounters still hold old stock. We have not seen an official statement from the brand.

How does Euphoria Blush differ from Euphoria Gold?

Blush is a tart berry and rose scent from 2020. Euphoria Gold (2014) is a honeyed fruity oriental with apricot and white flowers, which we also make.

Does Euphoria Blush smell of chocolate?

Only lightly. Chocolate sits in the base with patchouli, adding depth under the berries and rose rather than a dessert effect.

Is Calvin Klein Euphoria Blush coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Calvin Klein that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
