Brasil Dream

Brasil Dream, inspired by Estée Lauder Brasil Dream (2008)

The top is fruity and citrusy at once, guava and pineapple alongside orange, neroli and orange blossom. White flowers move in quickly, gardenia and jasmine, with bergamot and Amalfi lemon keeping the heart fresh. The base adds coconut, an earthy thread of patchouli and sandalwood. It is commonly described as more floral than fruity, and some find it grown-up rather than girlish.

About the original

Brasil Dream was released in 2008 as part of Estée Lauder's Dream collection, alongside Bali Dream and Emerald Dream, sold mainly through travel retail (airport shops). A men's counterpart, Brasil Dream for Him, followed in 2009. According to fragrance databases the women's fragrance has been discontinued, and it no longer appears on Estée Lauder's website or at major European retailers.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Estée Lauder stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Summer is its season, and its lush character suits dressier occasions than the beach. It is fuller than a typical beach scent. The heady pairing of gardenia and coconut may feel mature to buyers looking for a light, fruity spritz.

It is no longer listed by Estée Lauder, and fragrance databases report it as discontinued. It was mainly sold in travel retail.

Is this the women's or the men's Brasil Dream?

The women's, from 2008. Brasil Dream for Him (2009) is a separate fragrance.

Is it more fruity or floral?

More floral. The guava and pineapple fade early, leaving gardenia and jasmine on coconut.

Is Estée Lauder Brasil Dream coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Estée Lauder that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
