Daisy Dream, inspired by Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream (2014)

Daisy Dream is the airier, bluer cousin of the original Daisy. Blackberry and pear give the top a sweet, dewy fruitiness, sharpened by grapefruit. Wisteria and jasmine form a sheer floral heart, with lychee adding a little more fruit. The base of white woods, musk and coconut water is clean and transparent, more like skin than timber.

About the original

Marc Jacobs released Daisy Dream in summer 2014 as a flanker of Daisy (2007). Alberto Morillas composed it with Ann Gottlieb. The brand describes a 'blue effect' inspired by daisies and blue sky, mirrored in the pale blue juice and the daisy-topped bottle.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Marc Jacobs stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Someone after a light, uncomplicated fruity floral is the natural wearer. The fruity sweetness is noticeable but not syrupy, and the overall effect is sheer. A wearer wanting depth or richness will find little here.

Daisy Dream (2014) is a flanker with a fruitier, airier profile built on blackberry, pear and wisteria. The original Daisy (2007) is a separate perfume that we sell too.

Does Daisy Dream smell of coconut?

Coconut water sits in the base, giving a faint, clean milkiness rather than a tropical coconut note.
