Lady Million Prive

Lady Million Prive, inspired by Paco Rabanne Lady Million Privé (2016)

Raspberry and orange blossom start it, but the sweetness turns dark quickly. Cocoa bean brings a bitter-chocolate, powdery note, honey adds a thick, waxy richness, and heliotrope (a flower that smells of almond and powder) rounds off the edges. Vanilla and patchouli hold the base together over woody notes. Overall it feels enveloping and close to a dessert.

About the original

Anne Flipo, who also created Lady Million in 2010, composed Privé, and it launched in summer 2016 alongside 1 Million Privé for men. Rabanne presented it as a hypnotic, sensual oriental reading of Lady Million, adding cocoa and heliotrope with vanilla to the original's fruit and honey. Retailers sold it as an eau de parfum, although some launch press called it an eau de toilette. It is no longer listed among the Lady Million fragrances at major retailers.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Paco Rabanne (now Rabanne) stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Sweetness is the main thing to weigh up: honey and cocoa over vanilla make it much richer than Lady Million. Fans of the original who wanted something deeper are its natural audience, but honey's slightly animalic edge can be too much for some.

The women's Lady Million Privé (2016). 1 Million Privé for men launched at the same time but is a different scent, and we make it too.

How is it different from Lady Million?

It shares the raspberry, honey and orange blossom, but cocoa, heliotrope and vanilla make it darker and sweeter.

Was the original an eau de parfum or an eau de toilette?

Retailers sold the original Lady Million Privé as an eau de parfum, though some launch coverage described it as an eau de toilette.

Is Paco Rabanne (now Rabanne) Lady Million Prive coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Paco Rabanne (now Rabanne) that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
