Lanvin Me, inspired by Lanvin Me (2013)

Blueberry is the first thing you notice, a dark, jammy fruit given some zest by mandarin. Licorice then appears and stays throughout, giving the sweetness an anise-like edge that stops it from becoming simply candied. Rose and tuberose make the heart full and round before the scent settles onto sandalwood. One perfume blog compared it to a cross between Diesel Loverdose and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb.

About the original

Lanvin launched Me in May 2013 as an eau de parfum in 30, 50 and 80 ml bottles, with the composition credited to Domitille Bertier. Me L'Absolu followed in 2014 as a flanker. Marry Me! is an earlier and entirely separate Lanvin fragrance. Me no longer appears among the Lanvin lines listed by the brand's fragrance licensee, Interparfums, and it is now mainly listed by discount sellers.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lanvin stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its personality is playful rather than vampish, a good match for women who enjoy sweetness with some character. Licorice is a love-or-hate note, and the overall sweetness is high, which makes it a poor choice for fans of dry or fresh perfumes.

Is Lanvin Me discontinued?

It no longer appears in the current Lanvin lines listed by Interparfums or in a major EU retailer's Lanvin range. We have found no official statement from Lanvin.

Is this the same as Lanvin Marry Me?

No. Marry Me! (2010) is a different fragrance, a fruity floral. This page is for Me (2013), and we make Marry Me as well.

Does it really smell of licorice?

Yes. Licorice is one of the main notes and runs through the whole scent, adding an anise-like sweetness to the berries and flowers.

Is Lanvin Me coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Lanvin that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
