Alien Goddess Intense, inspired by Mugler Alien Goddess Intense (2022)

Calabrian bergamot opens it, but coconut cream arrives almost at once and gives the whole scent a smooth, beachy texture. Jasmine grandiflorum sits at the centre, joined by a jasmine tea note that adds a faintly green, infused quality. As it dries down, Bourbon vanilla takes the lead, made deeper and more resinous by benzoin, a balsam with a sweet, slightly smoky warmth. Cashmeran adds a musky, woody softness at the very end.

About the original

Mugler launched Alien Goddess Intense in summer 2022 as a stronger version of Alien Goddess, released the year before. Nathalie Lorson and Marie Salamagne of Firmenich created it. The brand describes it as an amplified, enveloping signature and sums it up as a vanilla and coconut perfume. It comes in Mugler's refillable bottles and is still part of the Alien Goddess range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Mugler stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Anyone drawn to a sunny, beachy mood will get on with it. Coconut is noticeable from the start, so people who dislike suntan-lotion associations should try the original Alien Goddess or another vanilla instead.

Mugler presents it as an amplified, more enveloping version of Alien Goddess and sums it up as a vanilla and coconut perfume, with bergamot, jasmine, a jasmine tea note, benzoin and cashmeran around them. We also make Alien Goddess.

Yes. Mugler names coconut cream as a key note, and it is one of the first things you notice.
