Plum Japonais was one of Tom Ford’s most mourned Private Blend discontinuations, and our version brings that opulent spiced plum oud back as a long-lasting eau de parfum.

The Story Behind the Scent

Launched in 2013 as part of Tom Ford’s Atelier d’Orient Private Blend collection and created by Yann Vasnier, Plum Japonais was built around juicy Japanese plum, warm spice and a dark oud base, becoming a cult favourite for its opulent, velvety character. Tom Ford has since discontinued it, and original bottles now command high prices on the secondary market.

Our interpretation is a faithful take on that spiced plum signature, rebuilt as a true eau de parfum at up to 40 percent perfume oil so the saffron and cinnamon opening, the juicy boozy plum heart and the warm oud amber base last 8 to 10 hours on skin.
