The Story Behind the Scent

Penhaligon’s built Legacy of Petra around frankincense and myrrh, evoking the ancient stone city and its history with a rich, ceremonial, resinous feel.

Our interpretation follows that character. We keep the bergamot and pink pepper bright up top, let myrrh and frankincense smoke the middle, and finish on a warm vanilla, benzoin and oud base.
