Italian yellow mandarin opens it with a sunny, juicy citrus, and cardamom adds an aromatic, slightly cooling spice. Oud wood and incense quickly darken it, with patchouli giving a dry, earthy shade. Caramel and tonka bean bring a burnished sweetness. Vetiver and incense hold the finish, woody and smoky.

About the original

Najim is Arabic for star, and the scent is described as inspired by the Arabian desert at night. Fragrance references and decant sellers say it was released around 2024 as a Middle East exclusive before wider distribution, including major US and UK retailers. Major retailers list it as a parfum. It comes in a golden-amber bottle with the Medusa emblem. Eros eau de toilette, Eros Parfum, Eros Flame and Eros Energy are all separate fragrances.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Versace stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Compared with the original Eros, it has been called more mature and refined while keeping some of the line's DNA. The oud and incense give it a noticeably darker profile. Caramel keeps it sweet, so those who dislike sugary men's scents should note that.
