Apres L'Amour, inspired by Thomas Kosmala No.4 Après l'Amour (2018)

Après l'Amour starts with bitter orange and lemon zest, tart and peel-like, but the citrus is only a short preface. Aromatic and fresh spicy notes follow, unnamed by the brand, and they carry the citrus into the base. The scent then settles into dry wood with musk and amber, close to the smell of clean skin. That musky base, not the citrus, is what defines it.

About the original

Thomas Kosmala, a London-based perfumer, launched Après l'Amour in 2018 as No.4 in his numbered line, part of the White Collection. The brand describes it as capturing the erotic energy and languorous mood of skin meeting skin. An Elixir de Parfum version followed in 2023, and both are currently sold. This page is based on the original eau de parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Thomas Kosmala stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its appeal lies in intimacy: musk and amber in a dry woody frame, with only a short burst of citrus. Animalic also appears among its voted accords, so it may not please a buyer who wants sparkling citrus throughout.
