Halfeti Leather, inspired by Penhaligon's Halfeti Leather (2019)

Bergamot and citrus make a brisk entrance before cardamom, cumin, nutmeg and cinnamon pile in. Leather and oud then dominate, smoky and slightly animalic. Prune, a dried-plum note, adds a dark, jammy sweetness, while violet and lavender give glimpses of flowers. The base thickens with incense, patchouli and cedar.

About the original

Halfeti Leather is a flanker of Penhaligon's Halfeti (2015) in the Trade Routes collection. It was introduced in 2019 and reached wider distribution in 2020. The brand presents it as Halfeti 'but not as one knows it', pairing bold bergamot with leather and oud. Its official key notes are incense, plum and bergamot.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Penhaligon's stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

With leather and oud at its centre, it suits people who like animalic, smoky compositions. Cumin and oud can feel too raw for anyone who prefers clean woods.

Halfeti Leather is a 2019 flanker of the 2015 original. It places leather and oud at the centre, with prune and incense, whereas the original Halfeti is a separate scent we also offer.
