Kurky, inspired by Maison Francis Kurkdjian Kurky (2025)

Kurky smells like a bag of fruit sweets: orange, pear, peach, raspberry and blackberry blended into one tutti-frutti accord. That fruit floats on a cloud of white musk, with vanilla and sandalwood giving the base a smooth, slightly milky feel. It is cheerful and deliberately nostalgic, and its note list has no caramel or burnt sugar.

About the original

Maison Francis Kurkdjian launched Kurky in March 2025 and named it after Francis Kurkdjian's nickname as a youth. The house describes it as playful and nostalgic and files it under gourmand, built from two accords: tutti-frutti fruit, and white musk with vanilla and sandalwood. Alongside the eau de parfum, the brand sells a Kurky Eau parfumée, a different and lighter product.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Maison Francis Kurkdjian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Adults who still like the smell of fruit sweets are the obvious audience. The musk keeps it airy, yet it is unmistakably sweet. Fruity gourmand musks can give some people a headache, so it is worth knowing your tolerance for this style.

It is modelled on Kurky Eau de Parfum. The Eau parfumée is a separate, lighter Kurky product from Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
