Orpheon is a smoky woody scent with a soft floral heart, and our version keeps that feel: a juniper opening, a jasmine and tonka heart, and a warm woody base.

The Story Behind the Scent

Created by Olivier Pescheux and launched in 2019, Diptyque Orpheon is named after a jazz club that once stood near Diptyque’s first boutique. It sets out to bottle the atmosphere of 1960s Paris nightlife: dimly lit, smoky and sophisticated.

Our interpretation follows that character. We keep the juniper and bergamot fresh up top, let jasmine and tonka bean warm the middle, and finish on a smoky cedar, opopanax and musk base.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

The original is a niche eau de parfum sold at high niche pricing. We build ours at a high perfume oil concentration and sell direct, so you get the same character for a fraction of the price.
