The Story Behind the Scent

Before there was a men’s fragrance industry, there was Pour Un Homme de Caron. Ernest Daltroff composed it in 1934, the first fragrance ever marketed specifically to men, built simply around lavender and vanilla, two ingredients somehow rendered into one of the most quietly perfect compositions in modern perfumery.

Our interpretation rebuilds that timeless lavender vanilla at 40 percent perfume oil so the aromatic opening and the sweet vanilla base project and last well on skin.
