Torino 22, inspired by Xerjoff Torino22 (2022)

The bergamot top is brief, and what follows is herbal and cool: eucalyptus with clary sage, a herb with a musky, slightly tea-like smell. Saffron adds a leathery spice, while mate (the South American tea leaf) and guaiac wood give the middle a smoky, green-woody tone. Clean musk and dry woods finish it, with a slight sweetness.

About the original

Xerjoff released Torino 22 (officially written TORINO22) in late 2022 for the Nitto ATP Finals tennis tournament in Turin. It was the second scent in the house's Torino series, after Torino21, and was followed by Torino23, Torino24 and Torino25. CaFleurebon called it an original composition rather than a flanker of Torino21, and more intense. Xerjoff keeps the notes off its product page, so the pyramid here comes from published press coverage.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Xerjoff stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Eucalyptus is the deciding note: anyone who enjoys its medicinal coolness alongside sage will feel at home, while those wary of camphor-like herbs may not. Its sweetness is slight and comes late, in the base.

Is Torino 22 the same as Torino 21?

No. Torino 22 (2022) is a separate fragrance built on saffron, eucalyptus and clary sage. Torino 21 is the first scent in the series, which we also make.

Xerjoff made it for the 2022 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin (Torino in Italian), held from 13 to 20 November 2022.
