The Story Behind the Scent

Nasomatto is known for abstract, characterful perfumes, and Absinth is one of its most distinctive. A rush of green notes and bitter wormwood opens it, herbal and heady, then vetiver and spices give a dry, earthy heart, and a base of dark woods and musk grounds it. It smells green, boozy and a bit rebellious, the opposite of a safe, clean fragrance.

How Our Version Compares to the Original

We do not claim this is identical, because no interpretation is. What we have built follows the same green aromatic woody signature of the original, rebuilt at up to 40% perfume oil so it projects clearly early on and lingers longer than a typical spray. A little goes a long way.
