About the original

The closest match for this name is Gardenia from Jo Loves, the separate house Jo Malone founded after leaving Jo Malone London. It was among the first Jo Loves fragrances and debuted as an eau de toilette at the brand's Selfridges pop-up in November 2011. Jo Malone London currently sells no plain Gardenia cologne, only Gardenia & Oud Absolu, which is a different scent. That brand did release Vintage Gardenia in 2004, another possible reference.

Most likely Jo Loves Gardenia (2011), from the house Jo Malone set up after leaving Jo Malone London. It is not Jo Malone London's Gardenia & Oud Absolu.

Is Gardenia still made?

Whether this Gardenia is still produced is something we have not been able to confirm. Jo Loves currently lists Golden Gardenia, which is a different scent.

Is this the same as Vintage Gardenia?

Not as far as we can tell. Vintage Gardenia is a 2004 Jo Malone London scent, which we also make as a separate product.
