Alegría de Vivir starts fruity and fresh, with mandarin and juicy lychee. Rose follows with white cedarwood, which keeps the flower clean and slightly woody. The most unusual note sits in the base: rice steam and rice powder, which smell starchy, comforting and faintly powdery, like freshly cooked rice. Carolina Herrera classifies it as Floral Gourmand Musky, but the sweetness stays light.

About the original

Carolina Herrera launched Alegría de Vivir in 2022 as one of six scents in its Luckycharms Collection, a designer line separate from the main range and from the private Confidential collection. Each bottle carries a customisable charm. The brand's own copy mentions peonies, while its official note pyramid lists rose in the heart. The collection has since grown with Cute Chaos and a limited Dot Drama edition.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Carolina Herrera stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.
