Donna Born in Roma Intense leads with Bourbon vanilla, smooth and sweet, lifted at first by bergamot and a blackcurrant accord. Its heart is jasmine in three forms, giving a rich, slightly indolic floral note; indolic describes the faintly animal, heady facet that real jasmine carries. Benzoin, a balsamic resin with a vanilla-like sweetness, closes it on an enveloping base.

Valentino launched Donna Born in Roma Intense in 2023 as a deeper version of Donna Born in Roma, the 2019 original. The brand classifies it as an amber floral and ties it to Rome's nightlife, with vanilla and jasmine at the centre. It is a women's fragrance, separate from the men's Uomo Born in Roma scents.
