The Story Behind the Scent

Laura Mercier built Ambre Vanillé as a cosy, gourmand scent, all warm amber and sweet vanilla. The idea was comforting, edible warmth.

That warm sweetness is its appeal. The heliotrope adds a soft, almondy prettiness, the amber gives it warmth, and the vanilla and tonka make it creamy. Our interpretation follows that same cosy path.
