Just Her, inspired by Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli for Her (2013)

Neroli, distilled from bitter orange blossom, opens with a green, faintly soapy freshness. Tiare, the Tahitian gardenia, follows with a dense floral note that gives the scent its body. Rosewood, which launch coverage calls palissander, adds a polished woody base without turning it dark. With only three listed notes, it is a simple, focused composition.

About the original

Just Cavalli for Her launched in February 2013 with Georgia May Jagger as its face and a snake-head bottle. It is credited to Nathalie Lorson and Fabrice Pellegrin, and despite the similar name it is a new composition rather than the 2004 Just Cavalli Her. The brand pitched it at a younger audience than the main Roberto Cavalli line, with the slogan 'love at first bite'. The reference is an eau de toilette, and an eau de parfum listing the same notes is now sold alongside it.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Roberto Cavalli stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Retailers suggest it for daily wear as well as special occasions, and the short note list makes it easy to get along with. The tiare gives it a lush, slightly tropical richness that may feel heavy to someone who normally reaches for airy citrus scents.

The 2013 Just Cavalli for Her, built on neroli, tiare and rosewood. The 2004 Just Cavalli Her was a different composition.

The women's. Just Cavalli for Him is a separate men's fragrance, which we also make.
