Just Him, inspired by Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli for Him (2013)

Pimento, also called Jamaica pepper or allspice, opens it with a peppery, clove-like spice brightened by fresh notes. Vetiver and woody notes follow, giving the middle an earthy, rooty dryness. Leather comes through in the base and carries the drydown. With only a handful of named notes, the arc from spice to leather is easy to follow.

About the original

Roberto Cavalli launched Just Cavalli for Him in July 2013 as the men's counterpart to the 2012 women's Just Cavalli, with the composition credited to Domitille Bertier and Clément Gavarry of IFF. The bottle cap took the shape of a snake's head. A different Just Cavalli Him existed from around 2004, paired with Just Cavalli Her, and that older version is no longer the one sold under the name. The Roberto Cavalli fragrance licence is now held by Inter Parfums.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Roberto Cavalli stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Pepper, vetiver and leather make this a dry composition with little sweetness. Retail copy positions it for everyday wear, and the pepper-and-leather pairing may feel too harsh for anyone who leans towards citrus or clean musk.

The 2013 version with the pepper, vetiver and leather structure. The earlier Just Cavalli Him from around 2004 was a different fragrance.
