Just Rock For Her, inspired by Zadig & Voltaire Just Rock! pour Elle (2017)

Just Rock! pour Elle sets two moods against each other. Jasmine absolute and tuberose give a heady, white-floral richness, while incense and white patchouli, a cleaner and less earthy cut of patchouli, cast a dry, resinous shadow. Vanilla with gourmand notes sweetens the base, so the smoke never turns austere. The result is floral and sugared with an edge of church-like resin.

About the original

Zadig & Voltaire launched Just Rock! pour Elle in mid-2017 together with the men's Just Rock! pour Lui, an eau de toilette. The women's eau de parfum was created by Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac. The brand pitched it at a woman of "electric and rebellious elegance", in keeping with the name.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Zadig & Voltaire stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Incense is the deciding factor: lovers of tuberose who also enjoy a resinous, slightly churchy note will get on with it. The vanilla base is sweet, and tuberose can feel heady to anyone who prefers airy florals.
