Yara Moi, inspired by Lattafa Yara Moi (2022)

Pear sets the tone at the start, crisp and watery, with pink pepper adding a dry sparkle and blackcurrant a little tartness. Tuberose and jasmine then take over, rounded by almond so the flowers feel smooth rather than heady. The finish is vanilla on cashmeran, a modern musky-woody material with a velvety, slightly dusty texture, and patchouli keeps the base from becoming purely sugary.

About the original

Lattafa launched Yara Moi in 2022 as a women's flanker of Yara, recognisable by its white bottle. The brand describes a fresh, playful fruit opening and a floral heart, and retail copy classes it as a woody gourmand. It is sweet, but lighter and more floral than the later Yara Elixir. Lattafa also makes a 20 ml concentrated oil version, separate from the 100 ml eau de parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lattafa stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its balance of fruit, white flowers and vanilla makes it an easy choice for someone moving from fruity florals towards gourmands. The sweetness is clear but never syrupy. Tuberose can feel creamy and slightly heady, which may not appeal to every wearer.

What is the difference between Yara Moi and Yara Elixir?

Yara Moi (2022) is fruitier and more floral, with pear, tuberose and almond. Yara Elixir (2025) is denser and sweeter, built on caramel, marshmallow and vanilla. We make both.

Almond sits in the heart with tuberose and jasmine. It adds a smooth, nutty sweetness rather than a strong marzipan note.
