Miss Dior Eau De Parfum 2021, inspired by Dior Miss Dior Eau de Parfum (2021)

The rose here is centifolia, the many-petalled May rose, given a honeyed and slightly peppery edge. Lily of the valley, peony and iris open it in an airy way before apricot and peach bring a mellow fruit tone to the heart. In the base, vanilla, tonka bean and benzoin add creaminess, while sandalwood and musk stop it turning into dessert. Next to Dior's newer version, it is the more muted and powdery of the two.

About the original

In September 2021 François Demachy released a new Miss Dior Eau de Parfum to replace the 2017 version. He described its rose as spicier than before, with added fruit, and called the composition a 'millefiori' of many flowers. In August 2026 Dior replaced it in turn with a reworked Miss Dior Eau de Parfum under the same name, credited to Francis Kurkdjian and brighter and sweeter in character. This page follows the 2021 Demachy formula.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dior stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Rose lovers who want something refined rather than jammy will feel at home with it. Iris and apricot give a velvety finish, and the vanilla base adds a sweetness that is noticeable without taking over.

Is this the 2021 Miss Dior or the 2026 version?

The 2021 version by François Demachy. Dior replaced it in 2026 with a new formula credited to Francis Kurkdjian, which is sharper and sweeter.

Is it the same as the original 1947 Miss Dior?

No. The 1947 original is now called Miss Dior Original and is a different fragrance.

Is it very sweet?

Moderately. Vanilla, tonka and the stone-fruit notes add sweetness, but iris and sandalwood keep it from feeling sugary.
