Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, inspired by Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (2014)

Peony is the centre of Blooming Bouquet, and everything else is arranged to keep it fresh. A citrus opening, mandarin in the 2014 original and bergamot in the current version, gives way quickly to peony and damask rose with a dewy quality. The original also added peach and apricot to the peony for a little roundness. White musk finishes it with a slightly powdery, cottony softness.

About the original

Dior launched Blooming Bouquet in January 2014 as an eau de toilette in the Miss Dior line, composed by François Demachy according to the launch announcement. It was reworked and relaunched under the same name in 2023, with bergamot and sweet pea in place of the original mandarin, peach and apricot. Because two formulas share the name, the notes described here focus on what they have in common: peony, rose and white musk.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dior stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Light and sheer, it fits the springtime picture Dior paints for it. Its sweetness is mild and fruity rather than sugary, though the 2023 formula is said to be sweeter than the first. Wearers after warmth or depth will find little of either here.

Mandarin, or bergamot in the newer version, gives a short, bright opening before peony and damask rose arrive, with peach and apricot in the 2014 formula.

The 2014 original by François Demachy. Dior reworked the scent in 2023 under the same name, swapping mandarin, peach and apricot for bergamot and sweet pea.

It is lighter and fresher, centred on peony and musk, while the eau de parfum is a richer rose with vanilla and tonka.
